Emma was in Webkinz 7th heaven for her 7th! She had a few friends over and they all enjoyed their “Rudolph” Webkin. It was lots of fun.

For my 40th birthday I got to go to Thailand again! Cindy and I went to Chiang Mai this time. We had a great time shopping and riding elephants. We rode a bamboo raft and an ox cart too. The shopping was great and we had tons of fun. It made turning 40 much nicer!

Brady’s very first rock concert was the Rolling Stones here in Shanghai. How many kids get to say that? ... amazing. His second.... Eric Clapton, again in Shanghai. Mom and dad enjoyed that one more than Brady, but some day he will appreciate the novelty of it. His third and first one without any ADULT supervision was last night at Shanghai Soccer Stadium... Linkin Park. In my own (very correct) opinion... they can’t hold a candle to the first two concerts and without pre-dosing with morphine I am not sure I could actually make it through one of their concerts, but Brady LOVED it. He and his friend Kevin had a great time. They both have a little less hearing ability this morning, but had a really good time. Rock on boys!

Halloween

Hannah’s, Idols, Dementor’s Oh MY! We had a great time celebrating Halloween here in Shanghai. Emma dressed up as an American Idol and led her class in the parade with her teacher “Junie B. Jones” The teachers here are quite elaborate in some of their costumes and one of the 5th grade teacher’s dementor costume certainly brought a cold chill to many students!

San Francisco

We escaped the smog of Shanghai for beautiful skies in San Francisco during the October Holiday.We had a great time visiting Alcatraz, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Muir Woods and Benzinger Family Winery. I like looking at the pics and dreaming of that beautiful blue sky.......I breathe easier just thinking about it!
