“You Come Too: A Step Toward Inclusion for Teachers and Parents” is an interactive book designed to provide readers with the tools to help kiddos find that “just right” place where learning and friendships happen best. Written by Jeremy Bryan and Greg Marshall, the Figureheads’ lyricists, the book was born out of the experience the authors have working with children as a teacher (Bryan) and therapist (Marshall).
The book is divided into three different sections: body regulation—helping kiddos get the ants out of their pants, mind regulation—helping kiddos recognize the excitement of imagination and learning, and soul regulation—showing kiddos how to recognize their strengths and feel valued. Each of these sections corresponds with a section of award-winning songs on the You Come Too CD bound into the back of the book.
