Ms. Bratt’s grade five class, participated in the Dairy Farmers of Canada, power4bones program. This seven week web based program, provided the students with the opportunity to learn about bone health through listening to weekly announcements, playing web based games, and completing worksheets related to the weekly topic. The culminating activity was the development of a Public Service Announcement on bone health. Our class decided to apply their learning on bone health by developing podcasts as their public service announcements. The Grade Five class would like to thank Mrs. Kathy Gallagher for her assistance in completing the podcasts and getting them posted on the school board website. We hope you enjoy watching and listening to our Public Service Announcements and please remember, they are a work in progress.
