At Brainard Ave., East of Burnham Ave., Burnham, Illinois, in the parking lot.
Volunteers are needed to help clean up the shoreline of Lake Powderhorn in Lake Powderhorn Forest Preserve. Meet in the Parking lot. Wear sturdy shoes, long pants and gloves. Sponsored by Calumet Ecological Park Association.

Directions to site: From Ridge Rd. (East 37th Ave) in Hobart, travel south on Liverpool Road about 1.3 miles. The woods are south of the railroad tracks. Park on the east side of Liverpool Road, at the south end of the woods. The preserve is bordered by homes on the south and east, by a single house (on a deep, triangular shaped lot) on north and Liverpool Road on the west. A loop trail begins at Liverpool Road, at the SW corner of the property.
