King Brewing Company was formed in 1994, reviving a brewing tradition in southeastern Michigan that had ceased in the early 1950’s when the last small brewer was forced to close in Pontiac.  When we opened, there were only three other breweries operating in the state.  Currently, there are more than 70 breweries brewing beer in Michigan. 

King Brewing Company brews and packages all of it’s beer at our brewery in Pontiac.  We seek out the finest ingredients, use traditional methods and brew authentic styles of beer.  Our goal has always been a simple one:  “To provide metro Detroit with the freshest, most consistent and genuine beer available.” 

We brew a variety of beers through out the year.  Some of our products are seasonal.  We offer private label brewing services to those interested.  Feel free to contact the brewery at any time with any questions or suggestions.
