Expectations are high.
But I"m always reminded of 2 things:
Expect Mistakes.. They will happen. So expect them and be prepared to respond in a way that honors the Lord and cancels the enemy's oppressive attacks to hinder God's work.
Then... Always
Expect Miracles.. This in not our work but the Lord's. We are just bond slaves and servants called to the highest calling of reaching people for Christ and building up the church.
Thanks for your part in this. Some pray, some give, some go and some serve. That's the beautiful thing about the Kingdom of God. It is for ALL.
I do want to say I am sorry if I have let you down with a lack of communication. Like many of us I am praying and asking God how to do this work better. Vision and structure and plan. It's so important and I know I get so consumed with harvesting in one field and allowing weeds to grow in the next. So please forgive me if I have neglected you in any way.
Expect mistakes and expect miracles. But keep reaching a broken world for Jesus at all times.
You are greatly loved and appreciated.
In Jesus,
Steve

Pray for our plane. Weight is a big issue. We will all be taking one change of clothes only and only essential equipment. Expectations are high in many regions for the events. This is just the beginning I believe.

The Lord seems to be taking me to isolated regions at the ends of the earth during this season of ministry. I am writing this from the small town of Port Alsworth on the shores of Clarke Lake in the Alaskan wilderness. There are no roads in or out. Just a gravel airstrip and light aircraft for transport. Jordan and I sang and preached at the only church for hundreds of miles last Sunday. I preached on Acts 16 and the joys of being a prisoner for Christ. The packed church including 80 young people from all over Alaska attending a camp there stood at the end to dedicate themselves to becoming bond slaves to Jesus, just like Paul and Silas. In the midst of persecution and pain in a Roman prison they are found singing worship songs and praying at midnight. Praising God in their circumstances. Read Acts 16:vs 25 is the key for everyone of us!!

We head to Hooper Bay on the west coast for a concert plus a few other Yupik Eskimo communities before flying to Anchorage Baptist Tabernacle. We are very grateful to minister at the largest church in the city. Anchorage Baptist Tabernacle. We are very grateful to Samaritans Purse for the privilege of being able to serve as a Father and Son. Especially in one of the last great frontiers on the planet. Alaska is amazing with a capital A!! We were so blessed with a day out fishing with some of the SP construction crew guys. Top Day!!

Steve...

I find myself on a rollercoaster of emotions the days before departure. But as a family we have always trusted God to provide for us and protect us while we are apart. He has been faithful. It is amazing how He uses faithful praying people to partner with us. In a sense we choose separation.... to take the greatest message in the world to people who have been separated from God’s love and forgiveness and the truth of ALL Christ has done for us. Pray for us during June/July/August on our missions tours. Thanks Steve John 3:16-17

Cheyne is managing a Photographic Studio in London and loving Hillsong Church. Ryan is serving Bridges for Peace in Jerusalem and staying with this Grandparents. We hope Papa Ron is a good influence on him. Jordan is with us in Roseville and serving in the music ministry at Adventure Church, Roseville. Plus writing songs and doing school. Steve is preparing to travel back to Australia and New Guinea for missions tours. Plus a trip to Alaska with Jordan to serve with Samaritans Purse as well. Kerrie is just keeping it all together in her wonderful way! We praise the Lord for His providence.

4 hours west of Omaha, Nebraska. Somewhere between the miracles, memories and monotony of travelling is a place I have found to love. The journey to the destination with a friend or with family. Just being out there on the road, usually weary from the ministry the night before but filled with expectations for the event beyond the horizon. I love the road. The changes in land and sky. The endless opportunities to speak hope into the lives of others. The knowledge that most of my heroes in the Bible were travellers. Even Jesus. So travel much and travel safe. It is one of the great joys of life. “Go into all the world”. Steve
