Nothing on earth can ever fill the emptiness of our existence or give us eternal hope like knowing Jesus Christ.
We can search for real purpose and meaning, for love and acceptance, for a sense of worth in many different things. We can grow up believing that money, success, a good career and great achievements will bring us real life, but these are only ever rewarding when placed in God's perspective of how we should live and why we are here. To know God is the ultimate. To know His purpose, plans and promises for our lives gives us a true destiny. To have His presence and the peace that comes through following Jesus enables us to experience the full adventure of life and faith.
Some important things...
•The most important thing you will ever do in your life is to become a Christian. It will transform your past, present and future. With determination and faith, God will help you to grow strong and become all that He has created you to be.
•The great thing is that as a new Christian you're not alone. You are a member of God’s family, the church and we encourage you to involved in the life and programs of an active local church. Working and sharing with other believers will help to give you a fresh new focus and vision for life.
•Remember that when you become a Christian you not only gain a new friend, but a new enemy, Satan. He will do everything he can to destroy your desire to live for God. He'll try to divert you from the way God wants you to go. Stand strong against things you know are wrong. Learn to trust God and His plans for your life.
•There will be tough times but God will be your strength. Get into reading the Bible every day. This will help you more than anything else to know what God says, and not to rely on opinions and emotions to make important decisions for life.
•Finally, remember that you can trust Jesus Christ with everything in your day to day life. He is your Saviour and your friend forever. You can talk to God through prayer anywhere, anytime, thanking Him for all He has done for you and asking Him to lead you in the right way.
•Our prayer is that by faith you will know God, not through religious traditions or fear, but simply through an intimate and real relationship based on His love, forgiveness and grace.
