My Italian Experience so far...

Hello again everyone!

As yall all know, after the World Cup I made my way to the wonderful country of Italy and here are my experiences thus far...

Italy As I mentioned in my last blog, I am playing in South Italy, Altamura. They are known for the bread and mozzarella. I have put on some well needed pounds because of this great bread! My team is wonderful. We went from being in last place when I arrived to having a shot at the play offs. When I travel, I am usually not much of a tourist kind of person. This year has been wonderfully different. I have seen parts of Italy I have never seen before and even revisited parts I have been to without noticing the beauty that it beheld. Here is a video and pictures of me visiting Pisa for my first time. I have to say that of all the places I have ever visited or seen, Matera has to be the most amazing, breath taking city I have seen. It is 15 minutes away from my house and for those of you who have never heard of this city, it is where Mel Gibson filmed the Passion of Christ.
Since there are so many wonderful pictures of Matera, I have dedicated an entire page of photos in which yall can enjoy. Once again, the picture do no justice to the beauty that “I Sassi” holds. I suggest that if any of yall are ever in Italy, make a stop in Matera to see natures beauty and “I Sassi.” For my last and final entry, I visited the wonderful place that we all know as Milan or Milano. My first few years in Italy, most of my free time was spent here in Milano. The shopping is great, the food and restaurants are great but most of all the night life is great. In the pictures I am in Downtown where the famous Duomo is located. Where’s Stacy.......Try to find me Stacy’s Blogs Click here for more Pisa Pictures More Matera Pictures Thank yall for reading my blog!!! I hope that once again yall have enjoyed it. My focus here in Italy is volleyball, that is why I am here. I am happy that I have had some free time to enjoy the beauty of this wonderful country and share my experiences with yall.
My team has a tough road ahead, playing the top teams all in a row but Anything is Possible. It is always good to see not only my ex teammates but also my current teammates on the USA National Team.
Lastly, My heart goes out to Robyn Ah-Mow-Santos....
As I said before, support our National Teams, both teams plan on making a mark at the Beijing Olympics.
    Until Next time.....
