Italian Chapter Coming To A Close... USA Chapter About To Open...
Hello Everyone!

This will be my last and final blog from Italy for this season. We did not make it to play offs but managed to remain in A1 which was the main goal of the team. After Easter we have a weekend off for the Cup of Italy and then we will be playing in our final game of the season.

After I finish here, in Altamura, I will immediately join the USA Team to start preparing for our upcoming tournaments. The training team is currently in China playing against multiple club teams. For more details go to www.usavolleyball.org.

Also, a College friend of mine ask me to include a website for him about the upcoming AVP event in Dallas, Texas.
Please go and check it out...

Well, Mexican food is my favorite food and very hard to find here in Italy, so when I find it, I eat a months worth. Every time I visit Berg in Milan we meet at her, and now my favorite Mexican food restaurant . In the picture I am with my friend, Maurie, eating mexican food at the local supermarket in Modena, Italy. As ya’ll can see, I am eating a months worth... One of my favorite places to visit and spend my spare time in America and/or Italy is Harley Davidson. I recently purchased a Harley Davidson “Street Bob” so I am obsessed with purchasing Harley Davidson merchandise. I have collected Harley Davidson shirts from all over the World for years. Now having a bike, all my Harley purchases are justified.... Well, I just got back from the gym. We played in our “Derby” game tonight against Santeramo. A “Derby” is when you play the team in or near your same city. Let me tell yall, until you see the Down-South Derby, you have not seen a true “Derby”. The fans go crazy. It is a great atmosphere to play in though. The police force is there circling the gym so they seem to have it under control. Anyways, we won! In 4 so everyone here in my city went home happy. Here is a video of our fans at one of our games. Happy Easter to everyone! I know by the time my blog is posted, Easter will be over. I have to say this year has been a very wonderful “International” experience for me. I was fortunate enough to experience an amazing Belgium Christmas and today we had a Brazilian Easter that was absolutely incredible. The Brazilians, their families, my spanish teammate, her family and other friends had a get-together at Fofis house. Her mother cooked typical Brazilian food, deserts and then we all danced and the Brazilians took over with the Axe and many other dances. Though I am thankful, I miss my family: Mom, Daddy, Saandra, Kim and Family & Keri and Family. I miss waking up to a poem from my mother, “The Easter Bunny,” and having to scavenger hunt my basket full of goodies down that was hidden somewhere in the house.

Brazilian Easter in Italy As this Chapter of my life comes to a close, I have to say it is sort of bitter sweet. This apartment became my home, my teammates became my friends and this city became my town. Another chapter has been written in my book of life, only to be followed by another that will soon overshadow, overwhelm, then devour the current one that I am living. This experience that consumes my every second will only become a hand full of stories that I will exaggerate and share with the people around me to make them laugh. I am grateful and thankful for the recent changes in my life and would like to thank everyone involved. Though these changes were like a whirl wind, I have my head on straight, both feet on the ground and I am ready to begin the next chapter of my life.

Thank yall again for reading
