That’s the approved name for the new series. We originally wanted Scallywagger for the pilot, but we were asked to change it to Spacehopper.

This was all well and good for the pilot, but it turns out Spacehopper has copyright implications for the world market, so we’ve had to make another change (in case we sell any DVDs). And where Scallywagger failed, Scallywagga’ has been approved. I suspect it’s because the apostrophe makes it seem more ‘yoof’ and cool. I don’t mind Scallywagga, but I hate the apostrophe. I hope it falls off.
