Kent’s World
Kent’s World
I have always had a great desire to experience the world. I can remember the first time I walked into the UGA studies abroad office. I wanted to travel to some country and be an exchange student. I was learning the spanish language, so I thought it would be a great idea to travel to a country to experience the culture as well. Well my hopes were soon crushed when I learned of how much it costs. Thus became my annual ritual to visit the studies abroad office during the spring semester and dream of traveling the world.
During my last year at UGA I decided it was time. This would be my 5th visit to the studies abroad office. I would be graduating in December and if it was going to happen this was the summer. I found a great program through Augusta State University and decide to go. This is the trip that would change my view of the world. (but that’s for a blog entry later some time)
Italy was great as was Spain (were I ended up going). Everyone should visit another culture and experience another part of the world. It opens your eyes and makes your world a little bigger.
welcome to the world as seen through my eyes
The above are pics are from our latest trip. We went to Italy this past summer. The main pic is our view from our hotel in Rome. The top right is me in Venice on our way to the hotel. The green grass pic is the courtyard in Pisa. And the last pic is a view of a Venetian street.
