July 12, 2008       The Race is CANCELLED.

The Mt. Ogden Race has been cancelled due to the Weber County Sheriffs. I received permission to run the original course and three weeks ago I got an e-mail stating that  I couldn’t use it. So I rerouted the course without the Ogden Canyon and North Ogden Divide, I had a meeting with one of them on July 11th about traffic control and how many policemen we would need, everything was all good in the meeting I was going to get letters of assistance from them and an hour later I received a phone call saying it wasn’t going to happen. So due to the back and forth decisions from the Weber County Sheriffs I am forced to cancel the race.

I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to a lot of you who were planning on racing. Please check us out next year, we hope to run the race earlier in the year.
