The goal of the GBIM/Cambodian team in NW Cambodia is to plant of self-supporting, self-governing and self-propagating local churches (see NW Cambodia GBIM Team Indigenous Church-Planting Values). The task, however, is much larger than we could ever hope to achieve with our human resources. The obstacles (religious, economic, social and political - see Obstacles to church planting) are truly a “Goliath” that must be slain on our knees. We are, therefore, seeking to raise up an army of prayer warriors willing to commit to praying with us over the next year for spiritual victory.
As you examine the list of villages below and visit the page explaining the situation of each one, please ask God to lay on your heart to adopt one or several villages for regular prayer. Here are the villages:
