Kent Ashcraft has played an active role in Washington area music for many years, and has been a full-time musician all his professional life. From 1979 to 1999 he served as guitarist, vocalist, and pop music arranger for the U.S. Marine Band, performing at the White House on hundreds of occasions. At present, he performs on a freelance basis for private events, recording sessions, and in nightclubs. In addition to Kent’s performance, Ashcraft Music Services offers arranging and other music production, and private music instruction.
