Hi, I’m Fr. Kenson Koh, a priest from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of  Singapore.  In 2006, I was inspired by Fr. Bill Kessler and Fr. Roderick Vonhögen (see www.sqpn.com), and decided to create a podcast for Catholics in Singapore. I called the podcast Lion City Catholic Cast.  After all, the word Singapore is the English version of the Malay Singapura.  Singapura probably originated from two Sanskrit words:  simha and puram.  The former being the word for lion and the latter for city or fortress.  Modern Singapore calls itself the Lion City.  Get the connection?
