The Kensington Foundation for Animals in Crisis

The story of a cat called “Kensington”.

A few years ago there was a cat that lived in the area of the Kensington Market in Toronto. It was passing it’s life as many cats do expressing independence and leaving others well enough alone.

One day three young men decided to make a movie. They claimed it was an Art Project for a course they were in. The purpose of the film was to show the torture it to death. They were convicted of cruelty to animals.

In 2004 It was in memory of this animal that we named our Charity and the picture in the upper left corner reminds us of how cruel a species we humans can be to those we share this planet with.

We work at helping all types of animals. Birds, Reptiles, Dogs, Pot Bellied Pigs, Rabbits, Ferrets and Cats are examples of where we have been aiding rescues and shelters.

Kensington’s picture is seen here to remind us of the story of the treatment we humans sometimes expose pets to.

There are problems in our  communities with wild and feral cats. Trapping, spaying and neutering and then releasing these animals will  also address the community overpopulation problems.

WE HELP RESCUE OPERATIONS THAT TRAP SPAY, NEUTER AND RELEASE
