Kenny Knapp
KENNY KNAPP began his musical career at the early age of 12. Although his main talent is singing, he also plays the guitar, banjo, fiddle, guitar, harmonica, mandolin, keyboards, & bass guitar.
While based in Las Vegas, Kenny did a guest appearance on the Merv Griffin Show. He also did a pilot series called "Las Vegas Country" which starred the late Bob Luman and current star, Eddy Raven.
Over the years Kenny has worked in concert with a variety of stars including Moe Bandy, Wayne Newton, Bobby Goldsboro, Jeannie C. Riley, Buddy Allen, Rex Allen Jr., Eddie Rabbit, Micheal Martin Murphy, Gary Morris, and David Frizzell. Kenny also appeared on "You Can Be A Star" on the Nashville Network. He has played for the world popular "Frontier Days Rodeo" in Cheyenne, WY .
After 17 years on the road with his band, Kenny decided to do a solo act. He currently plays in casinos in Nevada and Colorado. Kenny also performed at the"SANDBAR" nightclub in Juneau, AK during the spring and fall for the last 9 years. During the winter months Kenny performs at the WindWalker Tours Sleighride Dinners in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. In the summer months when Kenny is not traveling on the road he performs at the "BAR S CHUCKWAGON SUPPERS" in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. www.windwalkertours.com.
In 1990 Kenny started recording and producing his own albums. To date, Kenny has recorded 12 albums and has 5 CDs for sale. Kenny plays all the background music on the albums except where otherwise noted.
