The 12th Annual IAA Foundation’s IAITC Golf Outing took place at the Elks Golf Club and Wolf Creek Golf Club in Pontiac, IL, on August 7, 2008. 225 golfers took to the links to support the Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom program. 

The outing’s live and silent auctions raised $4,281 for Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom.  Livingston County volunteer, Rosie Duffy, donated 12 homemade pies to the cause.  Rosie’s 12 pies raised over $2,000 for IAITC. 

The day came to a close with a golf ball drop.  The golf balls were dropped and the ball landing closest to the pin won a trip to the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort, Tucson, AZ.  Additional cash prizes were awarded.  Ticket sales for the Ball Drop Raffle raised a total of $4,646.
