Wow! Being locked out of the Hidden Lake hike due to a washed out road, we re-grouped and went to Lookout Mtn.  Boomers Bunn-Burner of the year. 8.5 miles round-trip straight UP. 4500 elevation gain.  Even the lean-mean BOOMER machines were hurtin’, but  WELL WORTH IT!! Huge pay-offs.  Even after the 4+ miles, there were still 40 stairs at the lookout.
