Well… here it is! Several people have contacted me recently urging me to get off my duff and get this years edition done. They wanted to order copies as Christmas gifts… an idea that I endorse whole-heartedly. Putting my calendar together, for the most part, is fun but it can be frustrating as well. I shoot hundreds of images through the year and deciding which to use can be frustrating. Each photograph brings back memories and the emotions that were so strong at the time of shooting. For example: the sunrise at Diamond Lake was a COLD one! My hands don’t deal with the cold any more and crawling out of my warm sleeping bag on a morning when there was thick ice forming around the edges of the lake was definitely uncomfortable. But, I climbed to the top of my favorite “breakfast rock”, set up the tripod and camera, then huddled deep into my down coat and gloves and clutched a cup of hot coffee to my chest then waited. The wait was worth it... even if it was tough to get my fingers to work the controls on the camera. The result… atleast for me, was breathtaking. My fingers felt otherwise! So, enjoy this years endeavor and if you would like to own one of these, check out the Product Information page for prices and shipping information then contact me by hitting the “email me” button.
