Personalizing a coffee mug the last day of the PROFESSIONAL class.
In her own words about the class......on our evaluation form.
LIKED BEST...Being in it.
MOST VALUABLE PARTS...The hands-on experience. The critiques of my work and all the others. The technical information. Making me understand the value of the Ken Brown Certification.
COMPARED TO WHAT I EXPECTED....The seminar was about as intense as I thought it would be; a lot to pack into 3 days. From everything I saw on the website, I expected the efficient and cordial professionalism. That he is passionate about about he does is clear....and infectious! I did NOT expect to get turned around 180 degrees in my own perspective!! Did I get smoothly handled? Probably, AND, I thank my lucky starts for being able to expand my vision enough to choose what’s likely a better path for myself. Can’t beat learning from the pro.
WHAT I’D TELL SOMEONE ABOUT YOUR SEMINAR....
“DO IT! He is very good at what he does and he creates a supportive space for you to absorb what he has to offer. Bring your enthusiasm and be prepared to work hard and have fun. The hands-on practice/critique/practice process in his class is invaluable. DO IT.”
GRADING MYSELF WITH 10 BEING BEST....Between 7 and 8.
GRADING THE SEMINAR...Between 8 and 9

NOTE FROM KEN
The mischievous look on that face speaks volumes. She took off like a rocket in class, with her newfound skill, and impressed me greatly. She was convinced before she hit the classroom door that she knew exactly where she was going with this whole idea of engraving calligraphy. That self-proclaimed 180 degree turn was unexpected by only one of us.
