  1. Bullet A photographer from Sunset Magazine visited The Garden on July 8, 2008 to film us for a "top 10 Garden destinations" issue. The article will be published in Sunset’s April, 2009 issue.

  2. BulletThe Association of Zoological Horticulture, has awarded The Water Conservation Garden it’s 2007 Leadership in Conservation award in the Conservation Exhibit or Display category.

During June, July and August, in lieu of Regular Meetings on the last Saturday of the month, we have weekday evening Social Meetings consisting of brief announcements and a featured speaker or event. Guests/visitors are always welcome to join us!

WHEN/WHERE: Wednesday July 30th, at 5:30 pm, WCG in the Amphitheater at the rear of the Garden.

PROGRAM: Docent Fashion Show and Margarita social. Come dressed in what you wear when working in the garden - either at home or at The Garden.

Bring a pot-luck snack or soft drinks to share.

In coming months, these two factors may make it necessary for our docent/volunteer group to require that our members must volunteer at The Garden filling certain critical needs, and at a specified number of volunteer hours. See President’s Column for details.
