WHEN:
Docent meetings are the last Saturday of each month (except May and December) from 9:00 - 10:00 am.
WHERE:
This meeting will be at the Garden, in the Teaching Node (covered picnic tables in Design Loop). Bring a sweater as it might be cool in the morning.
NEXT DOCENT MEETING:
The meeting is Saturday, April 19th, 2008 from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Note that this meeting is the third Saturday, as the Spring Garden Festival (on 4/26) is the last Saturday.
Guests and visitors are always welcome to join us!
Spring Arrives at The Water Conservation Garden
This isn’t much of a scoop, since it’s not news to anyone that this is one of the loveliest months in the Garden. Spring flowers are in bloom and the bees are waking up. Before the heat of summer sets in, the Garden is a lovely place to take in nature and enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of Spring.
Docents and volunteers are busy throughout the Garden this month, preparing for the Spring Garden Festival, to be held early this year: on Saturday, April 26. For this reason, the docent meeting has been moved from the last Saturday of the month to April 19. See meeting details at right.
If you are interested in volunteering at the Garden, contact Volunteer Coordinator, Laurie Furry.
