I am very blessed to be married to Pam and have a wonderful daughter.     Pam and I met at Virginia Tech.  After graduation she went to work for Boeing in Philadelphia.  After two years, she moved to Virginia and we got married.   After  sixteen years we had Kristin.  Pam retired after working for twenty years so she could spend more time with Kristin and reduce the stress in our lives.

When I graduated, I went to work for the Navy in Crystal City, VA.  I am now the deputy director for manned airborne reconnaissance on the Chief of Naval Operations staff at the Pentagon.  I am very fortunate to have a job I enjoy.  In addition to spending time playing with Kristin, I have a large number of hobbies that keep me busy (see sidebar).

My philosophy is that no one on their death bed wished that they worked harder.   Do your job, but make sure you take time to enjoy life!
