Born in Niagara Falls, NY, I moved to New York City in 1997 after attending college to pursue a career in theatrical sound design. My college days were spent on the road as a stagehand and pyro technician for acts ranging from the Grateful Dead to K.C. and the Sunshine Band. These days you’re as likely to find me behind the desk designing and mixing a modern opera in Greece as you are to find me throwing the faders for your favorite band in front of my home crowd in Brooklyn.
In September 2004 I married my beautiful wife, Meghan Williams, in her home town of Marfa, Texas. Meghan is a puppeteer and has worked in Europe and the US with many companies and for artists such as Basil Twist. We live in Park Slope, Brooklyn with our cat Jesse, a collection guitars and way too much cooking paraphernalia. You can find us most summers at the Prospect Park bandshell where we work on the festival Celebrate Brooklyn! Meghan is the stage manager and I am the sound designer and system engineer.
When not working, which is almost never, we enjoy traveling around the globe visiting old friends and making new ones.
