I started pet sitting over 15 years ago, as a way to follow the cats whom I adopted through the Irvine Animal Care Center. Having volunteered there for so many years, I helped rescue and find homes for thousands of cats and dogs. During my time at the shelter, I was especially involved cat health care. From that, I evolved into the go-to person for all feline behavioral issues. It makes me proud to think of how this intervention saved the lives of countless otherwise doomed kitties.
Over time, I gained recognition in the animal welfare community, and was asked to serve on the Animal Services Advisory Committee. This governing body set policies and procedures on animal sheltering, which became a model for animal care centers across the country. I am also the author of a syndicated column regarding animal issues called "Kelly Pacino's Pet Care."
Both my background and huge love of animals uniquely qualify me as a pet sitting professional. I form deep ties with both my two and four-legged clients, and you can learn more by clicking here: “ABOUT ME.”
