I know it’s practically Christmas, but some people like closure. These are the last of the little tomatoes that could, November 19th. They are the last greenies that were on the plants and were picked October 30 during the afternoon before a predicted very cold night (the Oct. 30 greenie shot is below). I heard somewhere that you’re supposed to wrap the greenies in newspaper and put them in a dark place and before you know it, they will have ripened. Sure enough.
For those keeping track, Charon is the proud tomato in the lower left corner. In the greenie shot, if I remember correctly, Charon is the blusher on the left.
So concludes the Garden 2006 Unnecessary Blog. Tune in next summer to see if I learned anything about thwarting the unwanted affections of the skwerls. Now I turn my attention to the Whip the Kitchen (into Shape) Blog.
