Winding Down
The days are short and the sun is low, so there’s not much action in the tomato pots. This is the lone ripener and it has looked like this for a week. I suppose I’ll bring it inside one of these days. That’s Charon in the background, and I don’t hold out any hope that it will even blush on the vine. Pluto and all of the guest tomatoes got sauced and are quite delicious over pasta. That’s Pluto second from the lower right.
