Teaching Tools Built In: animations, graphics, graphing tools, and images for every subject. Create Notes on the Fly! Smart Notebook allows you to save everything and even write notes on websites for absent students and study materials Getting Started: Some Assembly Required : )
Great Things Can Come In Large Packages....
In This Case Two Packages.

1. Get the giant boxes in the building.
2. Get a Box Cutter or Sharp Tool
3. Tear boxes to pieces
4. Use your own imagination to put it together.
5. After creating a new piece of abstract art, find the directions. They were stuck to the board.

Start with the Stand or Legs (if you ordered them)
The stand is a handy tool. It allows you to adjust the height of the board, so students of all ages can reach it. The stand also allows you to share your board and move it easily from room to room. It comes with breaks and a bump guard for stability.

Tips for Setting up the Stand:
Use a table to assemble the stand on. It is easier to have a flat surface than on the floor. Though it can be done.
Attaching the Board:
After Assembling the Stand have a pair put the board on it’s perch. It will slide into place. After attaching the board, secure it with the long screws noted in your instructions.

Adding the Marker Tray:
This fixture will snap into place. Once you have lined it up, feel free to smack it into place. A few good whacks and it will be secure.
*Note* Remember to plug the tray into the board via phone cord. (looked like one)
This is the connection that allows you to use the markers, eraser, keyboard, and calibrator.

Hooking it up and Turning it on...
You will need to find you projector and the USB cord that came in the box.
Set the board where you would like, aim the projector, and plug the USB cord into your computer.
You should see a green light in the lower right corner of the Smart Board. This indicates that the connection is set.

Calibrating: The Fun Part
Push the two buttons in the center of your marker tray at the same time and the Calibration screen will appear. This screen allows you to orient your board to the projectors image. It ensures that when you click on something with your finger, that corresponds to the same spot on your computer.
If a munch-kin bumps the projector, remember to orient the board again so it is ready to use.
