Katie Howarth earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the Pennsylvania State University. While at Penn State she was a clarinetist in several performing ensembles including the Symphonic Band, Chamber Orchestra, Clarinet Choir, and the Marching Blue Band. This is her first year as a member of the Mainland Music Faculty, as well as Director of the Mainland Marching Mustangs. Aside from her passion in music, Katie loves to experiment in the kitchen with new gourmet dishes and sweet pastries for family and friends.
