Work begins

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't been keeping up with my blog, its been hard we have a lot me we have to do here. But since the last time I wrote a lot has happened. I have gone to the hospital, we went kayaking, and saw forgiveness in action.

I'll start by explaining the hospital part. It happened tuesday at my
work-site. We had just got to the work site and we had to fixed something we did wrong the day before. We were all taking out nails from some board, well I was using a nail pry bar and after I pulled the nail I sliced my leg open with the other end. I didn't think it was that serious so I just asked for a band-aid but my crew leaders made me get stitches. It didn't hurt at all and it hasn't hurt yet. The pictures above show my stitches, and right after I cut it so you can somewhat see the blood coming down my leg, sorry for those of you I grossed out by the pictures.

Well I was told I wasn't allowed to go swimming but on wednesday we had a kayaking trip set up and there was no way I was going to miss out. We took a two and a half hour trip and it was great! Some of us have never done anything like so it made people have to work together and have patience to help each other. Like helping Stacey and I to figure out how to not run into the side of the river. But it helped us all to get to each other a little better.

We not only learned about one another but learned how to love and seek forgiveness. The theme of this whole week has been renovate, how God can
renovate us. Well the past two days we have talked about love and
forgiveness. Well as everyone knows its very easy to talk about those.

We should love everyone as God loves all of us. Also, we should ask for and give forgiveness as God does. Well when trying to put that in action it becomes very difficult. During one of our devotions we say someone truly ask for and want forgiveness. To see this person really have a hard time to say they were wrong but they want another chance just shows helps to show it can be done. It may be hard but most things in life are but when you trust in God you can do anything.

Well I have another long day of work tomorrow so I better get to bed. I will try to do my best to keep updating you all but if I get a few days behind I'm sorry.
Before you go I want to leave you with the chorus of a song stuck in my head.

We love you Lord, we love you, we love you!

Forgiveness in Action
