Home

Well, we finally made it home and for those of us who went on both trips it feels like we have been gone forever. We left early saturday morning and our goal was to drive all the way to Carbondale, IL

We camped out saturday night which, after being in a cramped messy room full of 15 girls, felt nice.

We got to Carbondale with the sun still up so we were able to go hiking or swimming. Mike should us around a few hiking trails and we were even able to climb some rocks. Once we were done Mike and Scott gave us a a little tour of the school that they will both be going to in a few weeks,

SIU. It is a very pretty campus surrounded by a lake and forest, which is perfect for them. They also should us some great places to eat like Quatros.  Quatros is the best pizza place down there. After a long day of driving and hiking we all got back to the camp site ready to go to bed. We made a fire but it wasn't soon after that that everyone wanted to go to bed.

We woke up sunday morning and jumped into the car. We had a six hour
drive and everyone was ready to get home. Again I can't say much about the scenery as we drove home because I slept the whole way again. I did wake up for lunch but that was about it. We made it back to church around 2:30. It felt so nice to be home, to know that we could finally take a shower in our own bathroom and sleep in our own bed.

I want to thank everyone for taking the time out of your day to read this. It really means a lot to us, and hopefully you can understand better what we do when we aren't at church sunday morning. We all had a great time and if it wasn't for all your support there is no way we would have been able to go. I hope you enjoyed reading it, and if you had any questions we all love to talk about our trip so feel free to ask.

Final Entry
