YOUTH 2007 IN GREENSBORO

The trip to Greensboro, North Carolina has begun.  It took us the whole day tuesday, about 12 hours, to make it to our first destination, Knoxville, Tennessee.  The 12 hour trip also included the 100 or so bathroom stops, which I have to say about 75% were asked for by the boys.  Once we made it to Knoxville we stayed at the Christ United Methodist Church.  The church was huge, with so much to explore.  Some of us found the playground in back while others found the youth room.  We stayed in their very, very, very, cold gymnasium, which, by the way, was freezing!

We left the church very early this morning, with the only thing on our mind being S.P.L.A.T.  Well maybe also sleeping, food, the pool, but besides that we were only thinking of S.P.L.A.T.  I can’t really say too much about the car ride today mainly because I slept through the whole ride, but I do know we still made a lot of bathroom stops, and we went winding through the Smokey Mountains.  But after all that we made it to our main destination, Greensboro, North Carolina, and before I go I would just like to thank God for helping us and all the other church groups make it here safely.
