Imagine a place where crystal clear streams and towering oak & cedar trees meet the majesty of the hills. Add to the beauty, a place where visitors are always greeted by a friendly "howdy y'all" and you have found the wonder of the region. It's a little slice of heaven offering breathtaking beauty and a relaxing atmosphere.
This will not be a turn-key operation. The Unusual Suspects will be deploying to a very remote area of the Texas Hill Country working the DX under field conditions. All gear to support this event will be trucked in and set-up, including: radios, generators, antennas, to include bivouac tenting to support work rest cycles. We will be operating in very challenging conditions that will simulate the deployment of a HAM Communications Team with a goal to establish World-Wide Communications. Our plan is to provide full operation on all specified bands from 11:00 UT to 23:00 UT Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th.
