FCP 200 A Comprehensive Study of Final Cut Pro
 
What is it?
An intensive five day course designed to give students a fully comprehensive introduction to the workings of Final Cut Pro (FCP) 6.
 
Who should attend?
Anyone looking to edit professional quality video with FCP 6 and become an Apple Certified Pro. The course is designed for those who want hands-on practice and interactive instruction.
 
What does it cover?
Topics include basic setup, capturing video and audio, various editing and trimming techniques, ripple, roll, slip and slide tools, basic audio editing, basic transitions, finishing and final output.
FCP 200 students will also cover customizing preferences and settings, further audio editing and mixing, further transitions, video filters, colour correcting, motion effects and titling.
 
What do I get?
The Apple Pro Training Series course book ‘Final Cut Pro 6’ by Diana Weynand complete with a DVD of course media and lesson files.
The Final Cut Pro Level 1 End User Exam.
If successfully passed, a certificate for becoming an Apple Certified Pro in Final Cut Pro Level 1. This counts towards a Final Cut Studio Master Pro certification.
 
Are there any prerequisites?
A basic to good knowledge of the Mac OS and editing terminology.

Payment Terms
Payment shall be made to Kevin Cunnane. Bank transfer, check and cash (all in Euros) are all acceptable. Half course fee required as deposit. Remainder required on first day of course. If paying the remainder by bank transfer or cheque, will require payment 5 working days before class commencement.
 
Course Cancellation Policy
If notice is received at least (i) 14 days in advance of the class, the Customer is entitled to a full refund, (ii) 14-7 days of the class, the customer is entitled to a half refund. Customer is not entitled to a refund if less than 7 days advance notice is given. Kevin Cunnane reserves the right to amend or cancel the date and time of a Training class. In the event a Training class is cancelled, the customer is entitled to a full refund. Kevin Cunnane shall not be responsible for any other loss incurred by Customer as a result of a cancellation or amendment.

NEWS:
            The first ever Apple Certified Final Cut Pro Training course to be held in the north-west and Ulster took place at Letterkenny’s Regional Cultural Centre in May.
 
Facilitated by Apple Trainer Kevin Cunnane in association with Filmbase, Ireland’s first Apple Training Centre, the 5 day class was a great success.
