I’m a couple weeks late... but here is a picture of Piper with her father, enjoying chocolate for the first time on the eve of her first birthday. She had a fun, action-packed day: her grandmother was here for a visit, five of her little baby friends came over to play for a few hours in the morning, she received a bunch of really nice presents, and she ate tons of food (including a nice portion of the birthday cake above).

 

I can hardly believe it’s been a year already!
