It is a pleasure to give your child music training that shows foresight as well as the appreciation of fine art.  Please allow me to give you a brief description of my experiences:  I received my degree in Music from Western Michigan University. There, I was the Director and President of the Western Michigan University Gospel Choir, that had an enrollment of over 150 students. The choir performed in many operas, tours, and musical theater shows. I am also a member of the Chicago Community Chorus. In addition to my experience in music, I hold a Master Degree in Elementary Education.  I believe that my education training is essential in integrating music into the students’ education.

Parents play an important role in guiding their child’s musical training.  Music makes the world go ‘round.  Whether you are driving, riding the bus, watching television, or simply riding in the elevator, you will be exposed to some type of music. These are teachable moments that you can share with your child.

With your help, we can make your child’s music experience world class.  Good practice habits will be easily established.  Patience, sincere praise, a show of enthusiasm as your child learns new material, and your occasional participation in music-making sessions at home will be very beneficial.

Thanks, and let’s make music!!!!
