My name is Kelly Chwaszczewski, also known as Ms C. This is my second year teaching Health and Physical Education at Wrightwood. My goal is to inspire students to make healthy decisions in school, out of school, and for the rest of their lives. .

In Physical Education, students are introduced to various sports, team building games, and fitness activities each week. These activities are designed to give every child an equal opportunity to be successful, both as an individual and as part of a team. These activities are more than just exercise; they show children how to work together and how to respect one another.

I believe that after-school activities are crucial to a child’s development. Each child is great at something whether it may be reading, math, art, music or even gym. This is the time when students can discover their talents and make them even stronger.

I have coordinated two summer sports camps, coached cross-country, track, and swimming. At Wrightwood, I have coached Team Girls and the Wrightwood Running Team. This year, Team Girls ran their first 5K race at Toyota Park. It was a huge accomplishment for the students. 

I will do as much as I can, devote as much time as it takes, and teach as much as I know in order to prepare my students for what lies ahead.
