Please feel free to explore my current intimate oils collection. These are body portraits that witness, celebrate, honour and explore with the people who join me in my studio the experience of being painted in their unique and universal uncovered beauty. Most of my work is as much about the experience as the finished painting and it is lovely to witness someone see themselves with loving eyes, forgetting all the parts of themselves that keep them small.

‘Women in Their Fullness’

This new project is a celebration of pregnancy.

"Tales from Under the Elastic" which is a collection of stories and paintings of women in their knickers. Performed at Exeter Phoenix Art Gallery in the Surreal Saloon,

"Us two" which is a collection of paintings that honour couples together, 

"Intimate Oils" which is a collection of body portraits either nude or in lingerie. I staged a performance in the nude with three models which explored with an audience the nude in art and society. This can be seen on you-tube under Surreal Saloon May 4th 2007. I performed live body portraits at Erotica 2007.

"The United States of Yoni" which is a collection of intimate Yoni paintings which celebrate her in all her moods and 

"Amazon" which is a collection of paintings of women in bras with one breast in and one breast out...the modern Amazon woman!  

Deep Skin

is a new growing collection that explores peoples relationship with their tattooed skin.

"I saw Katie's work exhibited at a recent private view. I liked it I thought it was exciting and I've recently been on a mission to do things that are out of my comfort zone, to stretch my comfort zone to do something that I wouldn't do normally. I wanted to feel comfortable to be with my body as it is. I have spent sometime thinking that i should be skinny or slim, but I didn't do anything about it so I must be comfortable as I am. I wanted a record of this, how I feel about my body and that I am comfortable.”
