I have never taken a formal class in writing poetry, but I continue to write to communicate my thoughts. I think deeply and poetry is the only way I can really feel the truth.

you must commit yourself

to the images of eternity.

of everything you have known,

want to be, and strive to be.

let it define you in it's ambiguity,

and stretch you into it's brevity
