The Southeast Region of the Society for Photographic Education is seeking works by student photographers throughout the Southeast for a juried publication.
how to enter
Please submit:
-CD with up to 5 images (*see file requirements below)
Label CD clearly with photographer’s full name
-A stamped self-addressed mailer (if you’d like your CD returned)
digital file requirements
RGB color (no grayscale)
.jpg format, saved at highest .jpg setting
sized at 300 dpi, with the longest side set to 10” (3000 pixels)
Save images as your last name, first name, and image number
(for ex. doe_john_1.jpg, doe_john_2.jpg)
deadline
Entries must be postmarked by May 1, 2007

rules
Only works completed in the last two years will be considered. Entrants must be enrolled at a university in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, or Virginia at the time of submission, and the work must have been completed while enrolled in a photography course at one of these institutions.
juror
Sam Wang was born in Beijing and grew up in Hong Kong. He received an
MFA in photography from the University of Iowa in 1966 and has been
teaching at Clemson University since that time. Other than starting
the photography program, he was also one of the founders of the DPA
program (Digital Production Arts) preparing animators for the film
industry at Clemson. His work has been shown and collected nationally
and internationally.
