Instructions

Select a constellation or a Messier object from the list or select a chart from an index map. You can scroll around the chart and you see mirror image by tapping Mirror button. You can zoom in and out by pinching. Zoom range: 0.5x–2.0x.

About the charts

The sky is divided into 18 charts. One chart covers about 4h x 50° (polar areas: 8h x 40°). Charts contain over 8000 stars to magnitude 6.5 and all 110 Messier objects. Projection is equidistant azimuthal projection.

Stars have Bayer designation (Greek letters) or Flamsteed numbers to magnitude 5.5, except some crowded places.

• shows stars to magnitude 7.5 (over 25 000 stars)
• you can also zoom in by double-tap and zoom out by two-finger tap
• added images of Messier objects
• added a list of over 90 double stars
