About the charts
The sky is divided into 18 charts. One chart covers about 4h x 50° (polar areas: 8h x 40°). Charts contain over 25 000 stars to magnitude 7.5 and 346 deep sky objects including all 100 Messier objects. There is also a list of over 150 double and triple stars. All objects have visual magnitude 10.0 or brighter. Projection is equidistant azimuthal projection.
Stars have Bayer designation (Greek letters) or Flamsteed numbers to magnitude 6.0, except some crowded places.
Instructions
Select a constellation, a deep sky object or a double star from the list or select a chart from an index map. You can scroll around the chart and mirror or rotate it. You can zoom in and out by pinching. Zoom range: 0.5x–3.0x. You can also zoom in by double-tap and zoom out by two-finger tap.
