Moon Map Pro

Instructions

This moon map contains over 1100 named lunar formations. Scale is good for mid-size and big telescopes. Tap the map number to select an area. You can scroll around the map and you see mirror image by tapping "Mirror". You can zoom in and out by pinching. Tap "Search" button to select a name from a list.

On iPhone screen 1 mm is about 3 km on the moon with maximum zoom. You can zoom between 0.5x–1.5x. Map numbering system is from Lunar Astronautical Charts (LAC).

Tap LO button to show Lunar Orbiter maps. Over 6000 names, including lettered craters. Scale: 1 mm on screen is about 1.3 km on the moon with maximum zoom. Zoom range: 0.5x–2.0x.
