Mr. Wevers is a recipient of the 2008 Artist Trust/Washington State Arts Commission Fellowship Award

The award recognizes an artist’s creative excellence and accomplishment, professional achievement and continuing dedication to their artistic discipline. Mr. Wevers was recognized for his creation of Shindig, premiered by the Pacific Northwest Ballet in April 2008.
