a few cues from the genghis khan epic “mongol”, oscar-nominated in the best foreign language film category. the music was recorded in london (with the london session orchestra), in st. petersburg (with the one orchestra and mongolian ethno-folk group altan urag), and in hamburg (with the hamburger symphoniker). music is composed by tuomas kantelinen, film is released in the us by picturehouse on june 6th 2008.
