I decided to start this site on a day I was feeling very far away from our family and out of town friends.  I just wanted a way for everyone to be able to keep track of what we were up to out here in Oregon.  It has evolved a bit since then and also given me some motivation to work on taking some better photographs (you all can be the judges as my skills hopefully develop). 

Of course, there are certainly many days I don’t have the camera out, or I don’t get around to entering into this site, some of which I wish to share with you, but I suppose we need to keep a little mystery about our lives too.
