The name Ohana is a Hawaiian word that means, Family, Kin Group, Related. Ohana Circle was founded by Judith Wares, CD(DONA) to improve the quality of maternity care and well-being of infants and children by providing education and support during pregnancy, birth, postpartum and early childhood. At Ohana Circle we complement the care you are already receiving. We believe empowering women and families is key to their happy and healthy future. It is our goal to make your journey into parenthood a beautiful and empowering experience. Ohana Circle believes that a culture is defined by its gentleness with life, the way it protects and nourishes pregnant women, prepares for childbirth, develops rituals (spiritual or medical), cares for postpartum women, early childhood, adolescence and nurtures the elderly.
