The Second Generation Bears Witness

How can we be certain that the stories of the Holocaust will never be forgotten?

Julie Kohner has spent the past seventeen years teaching the Holocaust through her personal stories. She has embarked on an odyssey to make Holocaust teaching tangible and accessible to her audiences.

Julie Kohner tailors her program to your institution's special needs. Voices of the Generations has been presented to schools, synagogues, universities, civic groups, and organizations.

In addition, Julie also leads faculty workshops in teaching the Holocaust, and has participated at several scholar-in-residence events.

or Welcome to my web site. I am the daughter of a Holocaust Survivor. My mother Hanna Kohner survived four concentration camps, including Auschwitz. She passed away in 1990. Since then it has been my passion to tell her unique story of love conquering evil against the back drop of World War II Europe. Her experience was also the basis for an early 1950’s television program, the first to tell a survivor’s story. This story will move and inspire all generations, keeping her memory alive.
