Julie at Weehounds has cared for my rescued terrier "Mitzi "on a full time basis for almost a full year. This dog is a love but she was high energy girl and  due to her background, she wanted me all to herself. At a certain time in my life I had to admit that I couldn't handle her!

Julie took on the charge of her care with enthusiasm, leadership skill and a big heart. This was a dog most day care folks would have said no to, but Julie found a way to make it happen. Now, thanks to Julie and her gang my girl is trained, socialized, incredibly healthy and happy. She interacts easily with other people, dogs and cats. She is relaxed and at ease around everyone!  I owe Julie a huge debt of gratitude. Oh, how I love knowing the Weehounds is there! It has changed my life! I used to have anxiety in the pit of my stomach before I knew about Jewls and would have to board Cosmo. I felt super-guilty because he was adopted from The Humane Society and had been abandoned. I would take him to the "big name" places to board him, and he would always give me that look as I was dropping him off, and my stomach would sink...just knowing he was feeling left behind. It would kind of ruin my trips knowing he was stressed. And, let's face it, all the fancy buildings, decorations and knick knacks don't take away from the fact that he was locked in a kennel for the night...

 

Now, when I get within a mile of Weehounds to drop him off, he starts jumping around and wagging his tail and yipping. He cannot wait to get out of the car and run to greet his canine friends and.... especially Jewls. It is as much a home and family to him as our own. He runs free and plays with friends. When I pick him up it is obvious he has been nurtured and loved tenderly. He is ALWAYS calm, contented...his little soul is perfectly at peace! I do not know what I would do without the Weehounds.
