The spareness of the desert fascinates and draws me, which is why I revisit so many times. The images on this page were taken between December 2005 and May 2008 in the Colorado and Mojave desert ecosystems. As you can see, rains in the winter of 2007--08 made for amazing gardens in the spring of 2008.
